FlyWheelers Show Rules

Note: copies of these rules are handed out to all who camp with us during shows.

General

Our shows end on Saturday at 5 pm.

All vendors, exhibitors and selling exhibitors will be placed on the display field based on this criteria.

Rules for Operation of Powered Transportation

  1. Pedestrians have the right of way (they may not see or hear vehicles.
  2. Each operator shall have a valid driver's license.
  3. The speed limit is 5 miles per hour
  4. Vehicle drivers shall observe posted one way signs in the show field.
  5. All passengers shall be seated.
  6. No vehicles or trailers over 5 feet wide will be allowed in the show aisles. Also, no vehicles or trailers over 5 feet wide will be allowed to enter through the public gate.
  7. Vehicles shall park to side of show aisles.
  8. No double parking is allowed. Aisles have to be open in case of emergency.
  9. No vehicle will be left unattended while the engine is running.
  10. All vehicles shall use some type of light while operating after sunset.

Safety

  1. Fires - Except for the Club's fire ring, no ground level, uncontained fires are allowed. A fire extinguisher will be required. Any question on fire safety should be directed to the Safety Coordinator at the Fire Station.
  2. Alcoholic beverages - There shall be no consumption of any kind of alcoholic beverage in the public areas of the club grounds during show season.
  3. The Club has secured the services of the Polk County Sheriff's Department. Any security questions should be directed to the Sheriff Representative at the grounds.
  4. EMS services are available during show times. These services can be obtained by contacting any Show Staff with a radio or the Fire Station.

Campgrounds

  1. Obey Florida leash laws.
  2. Clean up after walking your dogs.
  3. No pets around food service areas.
  4. Camping in designated areas only per Vendor Gate Manager.
  5. No camping in any roadways or blocking of any building.
  6. No permanent canopies or structures in camping area.
  7. All camping spots are first come, first served (reservation system now being implemented - check first with Vendor Gate Manager)
  8. No saving or roping off to save camp spots for others.
  9. Electric is available at 10 amps per vehicles by first come, first served basis.
    • Lighting and battery charging only with applicable gauge electric cord used.
    • NO cords in water, across roadways or in hazardous conditions.
  10. No dumping of black or gray water on the ground. Violators will be escorted off the grounds. There is a pumping service available all days of our public shows. Ask at the Information Booth for details.
  11. Observe quiet hours between 11 pm and 7 am
  12. Vendor and Camper gates to be open 7-8 am and 5-7 pm. All other hours, only escorted vehicles given permission to enter by supervisory personnel will be allowed into the grounds. All others will park until open hours to gain admittance. Our purpose is to keep large vehicles out of the show grounds where there will be many pedestrians and golf carts.
  13. Only the immediate family of a member or show participant will be admitted thru vendor gate (i.e. wife, husband, children under 12.) All others pay an entry fee to get in during the hours of 8am-5pm.
