Florida Flywheelers Tractor Pull Rules - Lawn & Garden

Effective Date September 2007

SMALL WHEEL CLASS

Tractors with 12 inch rear wheels or smaller.
Weight class 500-1000 or 1500 pounds.
Maximum drawbar height will be 13 inches, measured at fixed D-ring or top of draw bar.

LARGE WHEEL CLASS

Tractors with rear wheels larger than 12 inches.
Weights class 1000, 1500, and 2000.
Maximum drawbar height will be 15 inches, measured at fixed D-ring or top of draw bar.

All tractors with 2 cylinders will pull in a class by themselves according to their weight

  1. All lawn and garden tractors will pull in first gear or at a walking speed only.
  2. All lawn and garden tractors will have wheelie bars, adjusted so the front wheels will not come off the track over eight (8) inches. Wheelie bars should extend behind the rear most portion of rear tire.
  3. Tractors must have 1 1/2 inches clevis or D-ring to pull.
  4. Stock tractors can have bolt on wheel weights front and rear. Weights can be made. They must be round and be as near apearing to original manufactured weights as possible. No suitcase weights allowed. Factory bolted on in original condition.
  5. Modified tractors can have weights bolted on or hanging anywhere.
  6. Maximum of 3 mph per Florida Flywheeler by-laws.
