* Are there any special handicap facilities at your park?
-- There are 2 public restrooms (near the Snow building and near the Tractor pull) Both are equipped with a stall with handicap door width and with a ramp to the building. The other "facilities" are rented porta-potties for the show. If you are camping with us, there is one handicap width stall in each of these public restrooms.
Pavement is almost non-existent. After all, it is in the country and is a former cow field. There are gravel/shell roads in the village and to the major buildings. Most of our large public buildings are at grade or do have ramps. The buildings in the village may or may not have ramps. Many are owned and built by senior citizens who have mobility issues of their own.
There is special parking for those who have legitimate handicap stickers. You may then ride our trams around the park.
There are also rental golf carts available just inside the gate. You may also bring in your own scooter or golf cart for free with a valid handicap sticker. Those who do not have the handicap sticker pay $5 a day to bring in their own golf cart.

* Do you have a classified section? I want to sell a 1948 Farmall F-Cub with plow.
-- If you meant this website, no. We do have a swap/4 sale section in our member newsletter. Only members are allowed to advertise in the newsletter. If you are a member, please contact the editors directly to place your item. Otherwise, why not bring it to display and sell at one of our shows?

* I have a small dressed up lawn tractor and small trailer with bench seat for my brother. Can i bring it in the event like a golf cart.
-- Yes, the small lawn tractors can be used for personal transportation if they are less than 6 feet wide (like a Deere Gator or Kawasaki Mule). You will have to pay $5 to bring it onto the grounds, like all golf cart owners do.

* IF I COME IN WITH MY 23 FT MOTOR HOME THE WEEK BEFORE THE SHOW TO REGISTER FOR A CAMP SITE, DO I HAVE TO LEAVE MY MOTOR HOME THERE AT THAT TIME OR CAN I COME BACK ON THE 20TH OR 21ST AND SET UP.
-- Yes, you may return later to set up if you prepay for the site.

* Will you be having a Flea Market this winter, and if so, when?
-- There is a flea market at every one of our three shows.

* I was wondering how to get a membership directory. I have one that's a couple years old and would like one that's up to date.
-- A new one is published every year by the membership clerk. If you did not get yours, check to see that your membership is current. We do not keep old issues of the directory once they run out.

* I am a food vendor interested in selling at one of your shows. Please mail me applications for your events along with details about each event so that I can provide you with detailed information about what I can offer to your events.
-- Please send your resume with a description of your menu to the attention of the Food Vendor Coordinator at the club mailing address: Florida Flywheelers, 2007 Avon Park Cutoff Rd., Ft Meade FL 33841.

* I am planning to attend the February Flywheelers Show and I will be driving down from the Central Kentucky Area. I would like to know which days of the event would be best for me to attend if my main interests are in Model T's and hit and miss engines including vendors for parts. Could you recommend hotels near the festival so I can go ahead and make reservations now.
-- We have Model T's and Hit 'n Miss engines at all of our shows. Our biggest show for vendors is the February show. We have a list of hotels with contact information and links to their websites if you will click the hotel page link.

* We were just at your village and it is beautiful. I was curious as to if you have any places left for someone to buy and build and display in your villiage?
-- All buildings on the grounds belong to the club. Buildings in the village are built by a member after getting approval from the board of directors. Only members in good standing with approval subject to local county inspection laws may build on Florida Flywheelers property.

* By the way, when do you guys get together for tractor pulls and shows?
-- The show dates are posted on the show dates page. Pull dates are posted on the tractor pull page.

* I am interested in attending the Jan. show, however, I wanted to find out if this weekend has the 2- mile garage sale or is it held the weekend in Feb?
-- Every one of our shows has a sale area. It is over 40 acres in size and continues to grow as our club grows.

* Could you please tell us how much it costs to rent a golf cart for the day for 4 people?
-- There is a link at the bottom of the home page to Mid Florida Golf Carts. You may also phone them. They are an independent business and set their own prices.

* What day is the parade?
-- There are two parades a day during each show. You can look at the show events schedule on this page, click here.

* We are planning to drive over for the January show on Saturday only with a group in a 30' RV - will we have any problem parking in your public parking area for the day?
-- We have a large field for daily parking. Should you decide to stay the night, you will be charged for a camping space even if you are parked in the parking lot.

* Are dogs allowed at the Engine and Tractor Swap Meet?
-- Pets are allowed with the following rules: 1) Clean up after your pet 2) Walk your pet on a leash 3) No pets in the food areas and 4) Quiet time is after 11PM.

* Do you have a schedule of events for your Feb. show? We are trying to decide which days to attend.
-- Basically most of the events are the same every day, except for the tractor pull. Click here to see the show schedule and click here to see the tractor pull schedule.

* I would like to know if there will be any model a parts at the for sale at the february show?
-- The flea market and swap meet is different every year. Join us and have fun treasure hunting!

* How may we obtain full hookup reservations for our 37 ft. motorhome?
-- We do not have sewer hookups. At this time, reservations are only taken in person at the show before the show you want to attend. You may come up to one week before the show and prepay for your space then.

* What are the sizes of your flea market/vendor sites?
-- They are approximately 15 feet wide by 30 feet long. The sites on the ends of the rows are more expensive.

* MY FATHER USED TO BE A MEMBER OF YOUR CLUB YEARS BACK. WHEN HE PASSED AWAY IN 2000 I WAS LEFT WITH A 1952 LAWN TRACTOR. I WOULD LIKE TO DONATE IT TO THE CLUB IN HIS HONOR. I DONT JUST WANT JUNK IT.
-- The club does accept donations of equipment and engines. Please contact the board to see if it is appropriate to give it to us and whether there would be someone willing to come and get it.
